Twelve-year-old Katie has had a short but rough life. When her mother dies from an apparent suicide, her cousins adopt her. Katie adores her new family and will not let anyone, including her abusive father, take her away from them.

In order to learn how to be responsible, two wealthy teen sisters are forced to work in the family business by their exasperated father. When company funds goes missing, it's up to the girls to save the day.

After using their powers to battle the forces of darkness, the sisters settle down to lead normal lives. However, the discovery that their biological father may not be dead, but residing in New York, causes confusion for the pair.
