A single mom who's thrust into the role of town sleuth to help solve a friend's mysterious death.

It follows Summer's life as her mother Vivian and daughter Chloe move in with her. Vivian sets up a miniature Christmas village. As Chloe begins setting up the figurines, real-life events seem to mimic the scenes she creates.

In the third movie of the series, Goldy Berry, a caterer and amateur detective, is recruited to provide food for a sizable wedding. Jessamyn Cole, the bride, is the ex-wife of Goldy's current love interest, detective Tom Schultz.

Follows Jen as she finds love when she joins the school parent teacher organization after she moves back to her deceased husband's home town.
