After the supposed suicide of her sister, a fledgling actress goes to college to try and prove the death was murder. As she investigates, she uncovers a blackmail racket but becomes a murder suspect herself.

Jake is given a Monkey's Paw that grants 3 wishes. After the first 2 wishes leave his friend Cobb undead, Cobb pushes Jake to make a final wish.

An intersecting tale with a multitude of characters living lives which, in one way or another, revolve around an old apartment block scheduled to be demolished.
